Rebel Rose, Ubermodel

Last month photographer Craig McGill came by to do a photo shoot with our English springer spaniel, Rebel Rose, for his publication Wine Dogs.   Craig knows the fast track to a spaniel's heart--biscuits!  He took some indoor and outdoor shots and Rebel followed him eagerly and obediently, clearly fascinated by the magical biscuit camera.

Before Craig left, he set his camera down on the front seat of his car while we were chatting, and our yellow kitten Mr. Stubs--you know, the one who has so far climbed inside the crusher, a wine tank, the refrigerator, and on top of the press while it was running--anyway Mr. Stubs jumped into the car to check out the camera and snoop around.  Craig laughed and suggested he shoot Stubbie-doo for their forthcoming postcard series, Wine Cats.

The Wine Dogs website features beautiful winery dog portraits, dog-of-the-month profiles and a short video of wine critic Robert Parker "rating" his bulldog Buddy on the 100-point scale.
